We recently celebrated the marriage of our daughter and son-in-law at Chateau Selah. I cannot imagine a more perfect venue, and most importantly a more perfect staff! From the moment we arrived on Friday afternoon for rehearsal, we were greeted with the most polite, efficient and helpful support staff who assisted us as we unloaded and got settled. In spite of all the last minute details needing attention, we felt surprisingly relaxed knowing that Taylor, Ciara and all of the staff had everything under control. I wish I had words to truly convey just how wonderful Taylor is! She is so organized and works so well with all the the vendors. It was easy to see that they all love her too. She made us feel like our wedding weekend was the most important thing going on. By the end of the weekend, they felt like forever friends. And then there are the unbelievable views, gorgeous grounds and stunning house and pavilion. Having such a fabulous facility for the wedding party to spend their weekend together was priceless. Choosing Chateau Selah and their staff was truly one of our best decisions. We will always treasure celebrating our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding at Chateau Salah!
Chateau Selah is truly one of the most beautiful wedding venues in East Tennessee. I've had the pleasure of photographing multiple weddings here. The mountain views are absolutely incredible, and the property offers so many gorgeous locations for portraits throughout the day. As a wedding photographer, I especially appreciate how thoughtfully the venue is designed. It’s an amazing choice for couples who want an elegant venue that still feels warm, peaceful, and connected to the natural beauty of East Tennessee.

I recently attended a wedding at The Chateau. The venue beautiful, the view is stunning but I was most impressed by the staff. I have extensive food allergies. They went above and beyond to ensure I didn’t suffer any reactions. I am very thankful for their thoughtfulness!
Chateau Selah in Blountville is an awesome venue if you want that old European castle vibe right in the middle of the East Tennessee mountains. The place looks like a real medieval fortress with big stone walls and iron details, but it still has all the modern comforts inside. The 82-acre property is super well-maintained, with neatly trimmed lawns and clean gardens that make the whole spot feel really high-end. Plus, since it sits high on a ridge, you get massive, wide-open views of the Appalachian Mountains that make sunsets totally unforgettable. Overall, it's just a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind spot.

I just got married at the Chateau on 7/11/26 and my sister also got married here back in 2019. Both times the weddings were absolutely perfect and beautiful. I didn't think it could get any better after visiting the first time years back but somehow it gets better and more improved every time we come. The staff is incredible- Taylor walked me through every single step and made planning an ease (even planning from the state of Colorado). She took care of every hesitant feeling I had and made sure the wedding day was smooth and beautiful for everyone. Callie and Sierra (hope I spelled that right) were also so hands on the day of and were so attentive. Every single staff member met you with a smile and asked if you needed anything- very genuine, trusting people. The venue speaks for itself and instantly teleports you to an Italian/Tennessee rolling hills setting and my guests have non-stop been saying it was the most beautiful place they have been! Also, the food was raved about, and I am still getting text messages about how magical the wedding was. Highly highly recommend The Chateau Selah for your wedding!!
